LASA

Lizz Tamam, co-founder of Lizz Aquatic Swimming Academy (LASA), began her swim coaching career as a Learn to Swim and Stroke Development teacher since 2012. Lizz is particularly interested in building water confidence and water survival for children as young as 4 years old and above. LASA, which is newly opened since December 2020, aims to deliver not only effective swimming courses, but also provide exciting sessions for the students.

Having certified from American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 1 & 2, Lizz is extremely passionate about sharing her knowledge and teaching great technique across all swimming levels, group or individuals. The students will truly appreciate the systematic and constructive approach by Lizz throughout the courses, regardless of the entry levels.

Lizz does not limit her horizon to only pool swimming. She is a FINA Open Water Swimming School Officials and has been actively involved in various open water swimming competitions around the country in the recent years. Lizz is always keen in promoting open water swimming to the students who are interested to take up swimming skills to the next level.

With two water-related lifesaving certifications under her belt, namely the International Life Saving (ILS) and Bronze Medallion, former coach at Advanced Aquatics and MySwim Coaching, Lizz puts highest attention to the safety aspect of water sports. She believes that swimming is not only fun and beneficial for long-term health, but it is also a great survival skill everybody should have.
